This client was looking for something to add more texture to the yard, especially around the sidewalks. We came up with this design where we installed 6x6 pressure treated wood beams at the height of the adjacent concrete, covered the space in-between with 20mm rundle, and then populated the beds with Elijah Blue Grass and Karl Forester Reed Grass plants. This design complemented the more modern style of the house and softened the transition from the concrete to the rest of the yard
